Most of these recipes are Top Secret Recipes and were never supposed to get out. Thanks to the hard working people at these establishments, they have secretly taken the recipes with them when they left the business.

For you, this means one thing, you get the great recipes to try at home for yourself. No more standing in line waiting to be seated. No more wondering "how they make that food" because now it’s all here. Topsecretfamousrecipes.com has them all for free.

Ok, free recipes of famous stuff like kit kat bars, TGI Fridays soups, and Boston Market chicken, but do they work? Do they taste the same?

I tried a few to test it out. The first was mounds bars. Since they are one of my favorite candies, I figured I’d try it out for myself and be the judge. Well, I have to say, I was impressed. They came out really close. They only difference is that my chocolate melted quicker in my hands. I just have to figure that one out and they are just as good if not better than the ones from the store. And they cost much less to make from home.

The second thing I tried was the Applebee’s Lemonade recipe. It tasted exactly the same as the restaurant and I had one the same day before I made it to make sure it was ok.

The third thing I tested was the Carrabba’s Mussels In White Wine Sauce. I love Carrabbas. It’s my favorite place to eat. I love to cook too, so this one was important. Not only was it so close I couldn’t tell, I learned a few more things about making these types of foods.

The site is updated daily and new recipes show up every night. At the time of the article there were over 180 recipes.

Chocolate Cake recipes

The chocolate cake is a much-loved recipe, enjoyed worldwide by millions today in all its variations, from chocolate muffins to devil’s food cake. The richness of chocolate makes it the perfect addition to cake recipes, to be eaten as a celebratory treat in birthday cakes and Christmas chocolate logs or simply enjoyed just because.

The origins of cakes can be traced back to over 2000 years ago and some of the earliest cakes were made combining flour, eggs, honey, nuts and milk. The chocolate cake was born in 1764 when Dr. James Baker discovered how to make chocolate by grinding coco beans between two large millstones.

Due to its expense, chocolate was initially considered a luxury snack but since Conrad Van Houton developed the method for making cacao butter, the product was sold as rock cacao or ground into powder, making it more accessible and one step closer to the chocolate recipes we enjoy today.

Britain has a love affair with chocolate with the average Brit consuming 17.4 pounds per year. With this in mind it seems only natural that the popularity of chocolate cake recipes has soared since the eighties, but with so many to choose from how to decide, and how to make the perfect chocolate cake?

Basic chocolate cake recipes contain eggs, butter, coco powder and cooking chocolate. The secret to the tastiest chocolate sponge cake lies in both the quality of the chocolate used and the type of fat. Dark chocolate with a high coco content is the best to use as the sweetness of the sugar will set off any bitterness. For a truly moist cake some American chocolate cake recipes are made with oil instead of butter which allows the cake to hold its moisture. Chocolate fudge cake recipes have added richness with their layer of chocolate fudge ganache filling, perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Chocolate brownie recipes and chocolate muffin recipes are perfect for introducing children to baking; both are simple recipes for young chocolate lovers.

Deciding on a recipe for chocolate cake depends on the occasion. For a dinner party or formal occasion chocolate mousse cake or chocolate fondants make a luxurious dessert. Black chocolate gateau or black forest cake originates from Germany and is made using cherries. This was a popular choice for buffet desserts in the eighties but a home-baked gateau can add finesse to a party today. Chocolate birthday cake ideas range from the chocolate fudge cake to the chocolate layer cake. 12 oz chicken breasts

1 tsp. minced garlic

1/4cup lemon juice

1/4 cup flour

2 Tbsp. olive oil

1/3 cup capers

1 can artichoke hearts (packed in water, not oil)

1 package sliced mushrooms

Coat chicken with flour. In a large skillet, cook garlic and oil over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until garlic is pale gold. Add chicken and brown 2-3 minutes on each side. Add lemon juice, artichokes, capers and mushrooms. Simmer, covered, for about 30-35 minutes. Turn and baste the chicken occasionally. Cook until chicken juices run clear.

Tip From Our Readers

If you have never tried capers (I hadn’t), this is a great way to start. They add a nice spiciness to the sauce. Add the capers and return the chicken to the pan, simmer for 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken to platter. Add the sliced mushrooms and 2 Tbsp of butter into the frying pan just used. Sauté the mushrooms for 5 minutes. Then add the white wine, lemon juice, and capers to the pan. Use a spatula to scrape up the browned bits.

Chicken piccatta is truly a work of art. Chicken piccatta is easy to prepare, and perhaps truffles and sherry for afterwards. One cosy dinner could make up for a week of not being there. Add chicken and cover skillet. Cook for 3 minutes. Add garlic to pan and sauté for 1 minute. Add wine, lemon juice, and capers and bring to boil; cook until reduced by half.

Cover the spinach with the mushrooms. Pour half the mixture from the saucepan over the mushrooms. Cover and cook on high 1 hour. Reduce heat to low and continue to cook covered 2 ? to 3 hours, or until chicken is tender throughout.

Piccata translates to piquant or piquancy, which in one definition means tart or zesty. Chicken piccata does have a tart sauce, with traditional additions of lemon juice, white wine and capers. Piccata is a form of the Italian verb picchiare, which means to beat, flog, or pound.

Actually, traditionally, the ease of cooking in making chicken piccata is that the chicken breasts (or turkey or veal) are pounded to extreme thinness before being dredged in flour and quickly sauté in a pan.

Add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and stir. Simmer uncovered on medium low until thickened (about 8 minutes). Add the pasta into the pan and cook, continuously stirring. Serve the pasta topped with the chicken and veil? Add chicken and cover skillet. Cook for 3 minutes.

Add the pecans and vanilla and stir. Add lemon juice and lemon slices to pan drippings in skillet; cook until thoroughly heated. Pour lemon mixture over chicken, and sprinkle. Add one teaspoon of olive oil to the pan. Sauté the green onions and garlic about two minutes or until tender.

Add lemon juice and heat through. Return chicken to the skillet with the lemon slices; heat until sauce thickens. Add in the crushed garlic and lemon juice. Boil the sauce rapidly and reduce it by half. Add capers and wine, and cook until wine reduces to 1/2, about 3 -5 minutes. Add lemon juice, and cook for 2 minutes more.

Add remaining olive oil and 2 more tablespoons of butter to pan. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and chicken to the pan. Season with black pepper and brown until lightly golden all over, about 5 to 6 minutes.

Cooking chicken in the oven can be done easily, provided you know the right techniques. Cook until chicken is tender, about 15 minutes. Remove chicken to a serving platter, pour sauce over the top.

Cooking it is usually a 2-3 hour process, but served with egg noodles (fresh homemade if you can) and Brussels sprouts, it is truly wonderful

Stir in garlic, 1/4 cup lemon juice. Stir well and bring to boil, then reduce heat to medium and let the mixture thicken. If you’d like a thicker sauce, add a bit of flour to the mixture.

Lemon juice or white wine is added to the pan and reduced. Shallots or garlic can be added with the capers and slices of lemon. Lemon ricotta cheesecake is a creamy, dreamy, lemony dessert. Lemon herb pasta toss is a recipe for noodles mixed with zucchini, oregano, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest and Parmesan cheese. Lemon lava cake recipe? Ivers clam chowder soup recipe?

Serve the sauce over the chicken. Served with whipped cream and ice cream if you choose, the dessert cress are tantalizing: Try the almond-peach cre, made with slivered almonds, peaches, brown sugar and cinnamon. The Whole Thing filled with sugared walnuts, Nutella and bananas, is worth every calorie.

The Best Macaroni and Cheese ever!

Ingredients

8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, plus more for casserole

6 slices white bread, crusts removed, torn into 1/4- to l/2-inch pieces

5 1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons coarse salt, plus more for water

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

4 1/2 cups (about 18 ounces) grated sharp white cheddar cheese

2 cups (about 8 ounces) grated Gruyère cheese

or 1 1/4 cups (about 5 ounces) grated Pecorino Romano cheese

1 pound elbow macaroni

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter a 3-quart casserole dish; set aside. Place the bread in a medium bowl. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Pour the melted butter into the bowl with the bread, and toss. Set the breadcrumbs aside.

2. Warm the milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Melt the remaining 6 tablespoons butter in a high-sided skillet over medium heat. When the butter bubbles, add the flour. Cook, stirring, 1 minute.

3. While whisking, slowly pour in the hot milk a little at a time to keep mixture smooth. Continue cooking, whisking constantly, until the mixture bubbles and becomes thick, 8 to 12 minutes.

4. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in salt, nutmeg, black pepper, cayenne pepper, 3 cups cheddar cheese, and 1 1/2 cups Gruyère (or 1 cup Pecorino Romano); set the cheese sauce aside.

5. Cover a large pot of salted water, and bring to a boil. Cook the macaroni until the outside of pasta is cooked and the inside is underdone, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer the macaroni to a colander, rinse under cold running water, and drain well. Stir the macaroni into the reserved cheese sauce.

6. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup Gruyère (or 1/4 cup Pecorino Romano), and the breadcrumbs over the top. Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes (though we needed a bit more time to get it brown, but your oven may vary). Transfer the dish to a wire rack for 5 minutes; serve.

Healthier Options: Delicious Goat Meat Recipes

Now that football season is underway and kids are back in school, you know fall is just around the corner. And as the temperature drops and everyone gathers indoors, there’s nothing more perfect than a hot meal you can enjoy with your friends and family. But instead of buying beef or chicken for dinners, opt for goat meat. For sale online and maybe at specialty butcher shops if you live close to a goat farm, you can buy goat meat and make some delicious meals. And since goat meat is lower in fat and cholesterol than even chicken, it’s a healthier alternative that seems silly to pass up. Here are some delicious ideas to get you started.

Chili
What better way to enjoy football than with a good bowl of spicy chili? With Italian goat sausage, instead of pork sausage or ground beef, you can add a little fire for fewer calories. Cook the sausage with onions and green peppers, add kidney beans, a can of diced tomatoes, and chili powder and simmer. Add your own secret ingredients for an extra special kick.

Loin Chops
After a big win, celebrate your athlete with some homemade goat loin chops. Grill, barbeque, or sear these mouthwatering delights using your own family recipe or marinade in a mixture of crushed garlic, paprika, Lawry’s seasoning salt, and a splash of fresh lemon juice for something tangy. Serve with whipped mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables for an extra healthy meal.

Ribs
Instead of prime rib for that special holiday day dinner, try rack of goat instead, marinated in crushed garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, a little honey, and balsamic vinegar. Then slow cook for about 6 hours on low in your slow cooker. If you’re using your oven, cook at 325 degrees Fahrenheit covered for about 3 hours or until done. Then broil for 10 minutes.

These are just ideas to get you started. Once you find goat meat for sale, give some these recipes a try or find more. Just because it’s not chicken, pork, or beef doesn’t mean that goat meat isn’t just as easy to prepare and delicious to eat.

Non Vegetarian

Non Vegetarian:

Vegetarians are those people who do not eat meat while non vegetarians are those who include meat in their diets. The following essay will explain the benefits of being a non vegetarian over a vegetarian.
The first aspect to consider is the issue of nutrition. Eating meat comes with numerous health benefits that cannot be derived from any vegetarian meal. To start with, meat contains high quality proteins with all the essential amino acids. Proteins are very useful in body building and thus persons relying only on plant foods for proteins are more vulnerable to retarded growth and a weak body than a non vegetarian. A well cooked chicken provides amino acids that protects from common influenza and enhances a person’s immune system against common ailments and allergies. Meat contains creatinine which is necessary for building the body muscle mass for locomotion and other physical practices. Most vegetarian infants exhibit stunted growth (Brown, 2008).
Iron which is a crucial mineral in hemoglobin formation and the consequent blood level sustenance especially for menstruating women is present in huge quantities in red meat than from any plant source. Animal liver for instance, contains 6000 mcgm per every 100 grams as opposed to 325 mcgm per every 100 grams of carrots. Bone marrow and soup is also a very rich source of iron as compared to green vegetables. Vegetarians are more likely to suffer from iron-deficiency anemia due to a low iron level.
The phosphorus content found in cereals and legumes is normally in the form of phytic acid. This means this kind of phosphorus has to be hydrolyzed first before it can be absorbed into the body. On the contrary, the phosphorus found in meats is easily absorbed in body tissues indicating that non vegetarians are more likely to have the desirable levels of phosphorus in the body than vegetarians. Meat also contains high levels of vitamin B12 which is absent in plant foods. Deficiency of vitamin B12 may lead to Macrocytic Anemia in infants of vegetarian mothers. Strict vegetarians face the risk of nutritional deficiencies such as riboflavin, zinc, iron, calcium and essential amino acids like lysine and methionine. Vegetarian children face the risk of energy deficiency in calories (Brown, 2008).
Fish, milk and milk products are very rich in calcium which is important for ensuring strong bones and teeth. Children lacking meat in their diets normally have problems in teeth formation and their bones are weak often resulting to frequent fractures and limb deformations and rickets due to lack of vitamin D. The calcium quantities in plant foods are minute and unreliable when it comes to proper bone and teeth formation. Osteoporosis may result due to calcium deficiency and cause bone demineralization
Some fish types such as tuna and salmon contains omega 3 acids which are very useful in mental health and general physical health. Omega 3 acids also have good anti-cancer properties. Fish also contains vitamin A well known for its ability to boost human memory and thus intelligence. Children fed with fish supplements are found to perform better academically than those who depend entirely on plants for their food.
The nutrients concentration in meat is high as compared to that in plant foods and hence little quantity of food is required in non vegetarian diets than in the vegetarian ones. This has the advantage of reducing the cases of food shortages if all people would adopt the concept of having meat as part of their diets and the resultant savings on food would be channeled to other financial needs. The good thing with non vegetarians is that they consume both plant foods as well as meat thus it is easier for them to attain a balanced diet than those who cannot eat meat. Patients who eat meat are found to recover more quickly than those who don’t since meat helps to speed up the repair of damaged body cells and formation of new cells.
Vegetarians face a higher rate of lack of food choices since restaurants still do not provide a wide range of vegetarian foods and preparing the food separately may be time consuming and expensive. Also a person is more likely to miss vegetarian food options when they drop at a friend’s house for dinner. On the contrary, a non vegetarian cannot suffer such food option limitations since they can feast on both plant foods as well as meat.
Vegetarians will have more hard times eating out with friends since it is much easier to arrange meals for everyone in the group rather than making separate meals for people who don’t eat meat. A non vegetarian will find it uncomfortable to eat from the same table with people eating meat which is not the case with a non vegetarian who can eat any kind of food on the table (Brown, 2008).
Ecological issue is another aspect to consider when thinking of the benefits of being a non vegetarian. Man makes part of the ecological food web that is responsible for balancing the natural occurrence of living things; animals and plants. If all people were to stop eating meat from animals, the population of herbivores would drastically increase resulting to lack of pasture and fodder for the domestic animals due to over competition. This would in turn result to starvation of the livestock and their eventual death. This explains the essence of man having to include animal meat in their diet to maintain a balance on the number of herbivores feeding on plants at any given time.
Animal products such as skins, hides, fur and bones are useful in production of leather items, clothing and adhesives. This implies that having meat as part of the human diet comes with other benefits of the by products. It is ironic that people are against non vegetarian practices yet they are quick to use leather products obtained after these animals are slaughtered.
Most of the religious beliefs that make people not to eat meat are based on the belief of reincarnation. Most Asian religious groups that do not eat meat believe that when a person dies, they reincarnate in form of an animal. This makes them believe that eating meat would mean eating their ancestors or those who have just died. The truth about this belief is very questionable since their mythical theory cannot explain why the animal population is still low in comparison to the number of people who have died. Animals are born and develop just like humans do and never do they emerge from reincarnation as alleged.
In a biblical point of view, God created man and gave them dominion over all animals. He did bless the animals for human consumption and hence eating meat should not be considered as sin. The Quran also allows its followers to have meat as part of their food. Animals cannot be fully personified to possess “human rights” of not being killed for human consumptions.
Owing to the above benefits associated with eating meat, it is therefore more logical and beneficial for all people to become non vegetarians, and assume the full benefits that come with the consumption of meat.
